Welcome! The Great Illuminary is a fan-made tool for building decks and playing Lorcana with your friends. These guidelines exist to keep it a good place for everyone.
We're Monsters Ink — a group of friends who love playing Lorcana, both casually and competitively. Two of our members are software engineers who build and maintain the site, and we have a dedicated tester group that helps catalogue bugs and keep things running smoothly.
This started as a simple "I wonder if I could do that" — a personal project built in spare time, out of genuine love for the game. It grew into something worth sharing with a small group of friends, so here we are.
The website is not finished. We're focused on getting something playable in front of the people we trust, and improving it little by little from there. We'll open it up more broadly once it's ready to handle that.
We also want to be clear: please support all community-based Lorcana projects. There are other tools and platforms out there, and different people enjoy different ones — go with whichever one works best for you. We're not here to compete, we're here to keep making this one better, one step at a time.
This is a private, early-access project. Do not share this link or invite anyone who was not explicitly given access by us. If someone shared it with you, that permission does not extend to others. Violating this is against our guidelines and may result in your access being removed.
We will open The Great Illuminary to the public once the site is robust enough to support it.
Streaming and recording of any kind are not permitted at this time. A dedicated streamer mode is in development and may be released in the future. Until then, please keep your sessions off camera and off stream.
This site operates under the Lorcana Community Code. All members are expected to have read it and conduct themselves accordingly.
Treat everyone — other players, Monsters Ink members, and our testers — with basic decency. No harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks.
Don't use bots, scrapers, or scripts to hammer the site. It runs on limited resources and excessive requests hurt everyone's experience.
If you find something broken, report it to our tester group rather than taking advantage of it. That's what they're here for.
This is a Lorcana fan site. Keep discussions and feedback relevant. This isn't a place for unrelated promotion or spam.
All card content, artwork, and game rules belong to Disney and Ravensburger. This site is fan-made and non-commercial — please don't use it in ways that could jeopardize that.
Found a bug? Have an idea? Reach out to us or flag it through the tester group. This project gets better because of people who care enough to say something.
